    Development of mental imagery based on text with a focus on the big picture, direct recall, and critical thinking.

    Simple and scaffolded instruction in mathematical basics from number sense to decimals, fractions, and percentages.

    Support from the sentence level up to academic essays with differentiated attention to content, grammar, and spelling based on the student’s needs.

The basics

Who do you tutor?

I have experience working with students of all ages (4 to adult!) and a range of learning profiles. Some of my students have diagnoses including dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, developmental delays, and executive function disorder. Some of my students attend schools for gifted children.

When are you available?

During the school year, I work with students 2-5 times per week before, during, or after school. During the summer, I often work with students 4-5 times per week from a half hour up to 3 hours per day. Repetition is key to growth!

Where do we meet?

My office is located in the Brooklyn Heights WeWork (195 Montague Street). If I have the availability, I am happy to travel to your home or school for an additional fee. I am also happy to meet online via Zoom no matter where you are located.
